There’s lots happening with food and fun for various Belltown events throughout April. Mark your calendars for Seattle Restaurant Week and more!

April 2-19: Seattle Restaurant Week at Belltown Eateries
Dinner | Around Belltown
The spring Seattle Restaurant Week kicks off on Monday, April 2nd at various restaurants around Belltown! Participating eateries are offering three dinner courses for $33 Sunday through Thursday each week through April 19th (excludes Easter Sunday). Around the neighborhood, the participating restaurants include: 2120, AQUA by El Gaucho, Belltown Brewing, Buenos Aires Grill, Dahlia Lounge, El Gaucho, Local 360, Lola, Mama’s Cantina, Orfeo, Palace Kitchen, TanakaSan, Tavolàta Belltown, and WASABI Seattle.  

April 6: Belltown First Friday Wine Share
6pm – 8:30pm | TBD
Each month, the Belltown First Friday Wine Share group gets together at a Belltown location (usually hosted at a neighborhood apartment). Everyone brings a bottle of wine to share, and enjoy good company and conversation. This month’s event will be on Friday, April 6th, and the location has yet to be determined.

April 7: Serious Pie Pizza Class
9:50am – 11:30am | Serious Pie
Get into the kitchen at Serious Pie and learn how to make some serious ‘za at the restaurant’s  monthly pizza class. Learn about how the ingredients make pizza so good, receive hands-on instruction, and top your pie with your choice of ingredients before baking and enjoying your pizza with a glass of wine. Tickets are $50 per person.

April 7: Free Tour of The Paramount Theatre
10am – 11:30am | The Paramount Theatre
On the first Saturday of each month, The Paramount Theatre offers free tours of its historic facilities. This month, the tour is from 10 a.m. until about 11:30 a.m. on April 7. Meet in the main entrance of the theatre by 10 a.m. to participate.

April 8: Spring Lamb Sunday Feast
6 – 9pm | Tavolàta Belltown
The monthly Sunday Feast at Tavolàta will feature lamb in four delightful family-style courses with dishes such as lamb tartar, lamb ragu and lamb rack. This Tavolàta Sunday Feast is prix-fixe at $65 per person and served family style. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. Call to reserve your place (reservations required): 206-838-8008.

April 13: Belltown Art Walk
6 – 9pm | Belltown Community Center
Belltown’s April Art Walk begins at the Belltown Community Center then sends walkers off to local businesses, galleries, dive bars and venues to enjoy works by local artists. Start at the neighborhood community center to pick up a gallery map and snacks between 6 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 13th, and then wander throughout Belltown to check out the work of various artists and establishments participating in this monthly event.

April 24: An Evening with Nigella Lawson
6:30pm – 8:30pm | Palace Ballroom
The Palace Ballroom is partnering with Book Larder to host a special food event with British food writer Nigella Lawson. On Tuesday, April 24th, Palace Ballroom will be celebrating the release of Nigella’s latest book, At My Table. Guests will be able to taste some of the recipes from her book as they sip a glass of wine and enjoy a conversation with Nigella, Tom Douglas and Seattle Kitchen radio co-host Katie Okumura. Guests will also get to take home a signed copy of At My Table. General admission is $75, or you can purchase VIP tickets for $100 which include an extra hour with Nigella, plus access to an open bar and a special appetizer (starts at 5:30pm).
