Halloween is just around the corner, and as any true fan of the holiday knows, it’s NEVER too early to start celebrating! This weekend presents just such an opportunity, in one of the coolest venues around.

Head down to the EMP for a ‘Totally Wicked’ party, this Saturday night (or fright…) for a scary good time. As part of their Hair-Raising ’31 Days of Horror’ series, the EMP will be hosting “Haunted Happy Hour: Like, Totally Wicked”, an amazingly spook-tacular 90’s throwback party.

Expect the shin-dig to be an over the top extravaganza, as is the custom with EMP parties, featuring totally boss 90’ tunes, giveaways, MovieCat! movie trivia, and of course, drink specials!  This party is sure to be a win for fans of Halloween, fans of any and all things 90’s and will be to DIE for for fans of both! happy_hour_totally_wicked

Happy Hour may be from 5-7, but the 90’s fun doesn’t have to stop then!

Stick around afterwards for the most fun you’ve ever had at the movies with a special Campout Cinemas presentation of the 90’s Halloween cult classic, Hocus Pocus.

Campout Cinema is an ongoing series at EMP in which all the fun of an outdoor movie comes inside the grandiose walls of the EMP’s Sky Church. Who needs a drive in when you have the gargantuan screen in the Skye Church, and a bar? Don’t forget to bring your own pillows, blankets and sleeping bags (just, no chairs, please!) and get cuddled up under a gorgeous ‘sky’, complete with LED ‘stars’!

hocus_pocus_screening_campoutTickets to Campout Cinema’s presentation of Hocus Pocus include admission to “Can’t Look Away: The Lure Of Horror Film” and, like most events at EMP, there are fabulous drink specials before the presentation and at intermission, as well as tons of fun and exciting surprises!

Campout Cinemas is known for providing a “Super Themed” movie going experience, so you can bet on tons of cooky, spooky fun at this show!

If you’re looking for a boo-tiful was to spend you weekend, EMP is the place to be…and BEWARE.
