If it seems like summer is whizzing by, you can take a deep breath—there is still plenty of summer fun in store for Seattle. The month of August marks the beginning of a wonderful lineup of weekly outdoor music. KEXP presents Concerts at the Mural every Friday at the mural amphitheater in Seattle Center.

Each Friday evening features some of KEXP’s favorite artists, with up to four performances per night beginning at 5:30 p.m. The concerts are free and open to the public, catered to those who want to experience Seattle’s vibrant independent music scene. Enjoy local tunes from the grassy amphitheater setting complete with a beer garden, with the Space Needle as the stage’s background.

Last week kicked off the 2014 Concerts at the Mural with headliner Charles Bradley. Check out photos and tweets from attendees, and make sure to catch the next concert this Friday!
