Most people are privy to Seattle.gov’s Police Blotter that maps out what types of crimes are being committed where and when. Here is a general update on what’s been happening in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle: This past week, from Nov. 25th though today, Dec. 02, the majority of crimes committed were identified as either car-prowling and car theft and those in the miscellaneous category including drug possession, weapon possession, violations of court orders, trespassing and disorderly conduct. Unfortunately, there were a couple crimes committed against persons as well. These were limited to assault reports. The blotter shows crimes that were initially reporter, however are subject to change if the perpetrator is formally charged. Visit Seattle.gov to see a full report.
